David Vandenberg is the founder of VandenBuilt Carpentry & Access Solutions, bringing a unique combination of trade, military, operational and maintenance experience to every project.

As a qualified carpenter, David has developed extensive experience delivering practical building solutions, repairs, maintenance works and accessibility modifications. His career also includes nine years of service in the Australian Army, where he developed strong leadership, discipline and problem-solving skills that continue to shape the way VandenBuilt operates today.

Following his military service, David spent five years working as a commercial diver, completing complex projects in demanding environments where safety, precision and attention to detail were critical. He has since built a successful career in facilities and asset management, overseeing maintenance programs, contractors and building projects across commercial and public infrastructure environments.

This diverse background gives David a unique understanding of construction, maintenance, compliance, safety and project delivery. Whether working with homeowners, occupational therapists, care providers, facility managers or commercial clients, his focus remains the same: delivering quality workmanship, practical solutions and exceptional customer service.
